1. Attachment-
According to Psychologist Bowlby's evolutionary theory of attachment, infants are physiologically predisposed to create relationships with others since doing so would increase their chances of survival. When toddlers come to school, they have already developed an attachment style with their family members and that dictates their attachment with the coming connections, though which can be practically changed if need to. Bowlby identified four types of attachment styles: secure, anxious-ambivalent, disorganized, and avoidant. We may not need to go in understanding each of them, but owing to the business of childcare, one should know about Attachment and its styles.
2. Curriculum-
Set of academic details and programmed documents that one has to follow in preschools/ schools for the entire year. The curriculum is often confused with a Syllabus whereas a syllabus is a descriptive list of subjects to be taught in a class. The curriculum is the main asset that guides the overall learning at school. 3. Developmental Domains-

4. Early Literacy and Numeracy-
Early literacy and Numeracy refer to the very basic concepts and themes, For instance in literacy the Phonological components, scribblings, general talking, and verbalizations, and in Numeracy, the one-to-one number correspondence, and pre-number concepts are essential for establishing the same further.
5. Fine and Gross Motor Skills-
Fine motor skills are the ability to make movements using the small muscles in our hands and wrists. Like, drawing, tracing, pasting, etc. and Gross motor skills are those which require whole-body movement and which involve the large (core stabilizing) muscles of the body to perform everyday functions, such as standing and walking, running and jumping, etc. These are again very integral to be developed in the early years and childcare business workers shall be aware of the same.
6. Play–
As Jean Piaget says, Play is the work of childhood. Play refers to any work done for recreation and fun. It includes activities that are enjoyable. In preschool, this term plays a significant role in and outside school. Though it is taken in a very ignorant way by people generally, it is a duly essential part of the child’s life at school and in the early years of their life. Apart from the fun aspect, it is the one way through which the child can be developed in almost any way we can think and feel.
